My client, a leading product company, delivers intelligent asset management systems into a range of markets.
As a Product Owner Team Lead, you will work with a small but growing team of Product Owners. The successful candidate will have the management responsibility of 1-2 Product Owners. You will provide a Voice of Customer support to the stakeholders. The successful candidate will be in close contact with the Product Managers and the R&D team.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a Voice of Customer.
Working with internal and external stakeholders to discover and analyse trends.
Capture requirements and translate these into relevant concepts and specifications, hardware and software.
Work closely with the Product Managers and R&D team to translate product expectations.
Support maintaining of a Product Backlog including prioritisation and planning
Liaise with all areas of the business to collate and validate requirements.
Create and maintain specifications and mock-ups in accordance with the business priorities, working practices and timescales.
Present concepts to the business and clients for review and refinement.
Develop an expertise of product offerings, internal systems and 3rd parties.
Participate and lead in occasional User Acceptance Testing.
Act as an ambassador for products and solutions to assist region distributors and Product Managers.
Maintaining relationships and communication lines with account managers and external clients.
Skills and Experience required:
5+ years commercial experience in a Product Owner working with Agile teams methodologies.
2+ years team leadership experience.
Strong ability to grasp new concepts and analyse complex systems using own initiative.
Certified SCRUM Product Owner.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
High standards of both written and oral communication.
Software / Technology orientated skill set.
Ability to present software proposals/concepts to project stakeholders.
Knowledge of BA methodologies and best practices.
