Our client is the UK's largest university, a world leader in flexible part-time education combining a mission to widen access to higher education with research excellence, transforming lives through education.

They are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join their ePortfolio project within the Apprenticeships Change Programme, starting January 2022 until 31 March 2022. Paying between £21.91 – £23.24 per hour, which equates to £42,149 – £44,706 per annum, working a 37 hour working week.

This role can be working from home (equipment will be provided) or hybrid working in the Milton Keynes Campus offices.

The role requires someone who has the following:

Understanding of budgets
Writing a project plan
Understand deliverables and deliverable payments
Negotiation skills with workstream leads
Understanding of Statement of Works (SOW) and Change Requests and their compliance and deliverables are met.
Being able to support IT Contract Manager and other colleagues in working with suppliers, managing challenging discussions, reducing exposure to change requests and ensuring best value
Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
Good communication verbally and written
Work with stakeholders across IT to ensure effective partnerships to achieve maximum value from vendors and resolve key issues
