Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their Diabetes team as a Technical Consultant. The successful candidate will provide technical support and training of exciting Diabetes products across East Anglia.

Ideal Requirements

* Clinical experience in the Healthcare industry is very strongly preferred.

* Recent Graduates with a scientific degree and a strong desire to get into the industry may be considered.

* Healthcare Professional backgrounds as a Physiotherapist, Nurse, or Dietician will be considered.

* Knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes and Insulin pump therapy would be advantageous.

* Able to have clinical conversations.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and patients.

* Ability to communicate within a matrix management structure.

* Flexibility to travel when required.

Role Responsibilities

* Support the Diabetes Territory Specialist to enable account independence and sales growth via a structured support and educational programme.

* Increase and deliver product and disease technical knowledge at a standard that is higher than the marketplace to health care professionals (HCPs) and patients.

* Co-support the HCPs at training sessions for patients who are starting on Insulin Pump Therapy or Continuous Glucose Monitoring in order that they become educated to a competent level and confident to manage the products independently.

* Develop and support patient retention initiatives (i.e., Trouble shooting workshops, post training support) as the business model requires.

* Compliance with sales administration requirements which include upkeep of an accurate CRM database and logging of daily activities.

* Knowledge of basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

* Ability to work alone and as part of a team.

* Highly motivated, focused and have the ability to self-manage.
