Quality Personnel are recruiting for a permanent Supply Chain Assistant for their Client based in Brinklow, Milton Keynes (this is an office-based role).

You will be working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and other colleagues to support the stock levels, process purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, general administration, and various other aspects of Supply Chain management.

Main duties:

* Processing purchase requisitions, raise and book in purchase orders, and manage supplier returns.

* Manage purchase orders, review order confirmations, chase suppliers for deliveries, and update NAV dates accordingly.

* Scheduling deliveries (containers) including managing documentation.

* Obtaining quotations for import and export shipment arrangements.

* Maintaining accuracy of NAV system including costs, reorder levels, BOMs (existing and new), item cards, etc.

* Updating the out of stock spreadsheet and liaising with the Customer Service team regarding stuck orders.

* Administrating and being involved with stock takes, as and when required.

* Owning stock adjustments following stock takes (annual and cyclical) and overseeing investigation of stock discrepancies.

* Maintaining slow moving stock report and supplier spend and performance records. To liaise with the Senior Finance Assistant with regard cost management and discrepancies.

* Working with the Supply Chain Manager in forecasting and maintaining stock levels.

* Calculating list prices and undertaking margin analysis as required.

* Assisting with supplier assessments, product reviews, and quality audit reports.

To be considered:

Experience in purchasing / supply chain preferred

Working Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week. Free Parking.
