StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting for Class 2 drivers for one of our established Clients based in Hemel Hempstead.
We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who are able to take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s busy operation.
The Job:
This role will be starting from January
Start the new Year with a bang!
The role will involve deliveries up to a average of 8 – 13 drops per shift.
Some heavy lifting may be required, including elements of hand ball.
You will be responsible for making sure all delivery logs are signed and accounted for and the role will require you to be well presented, polite, courteous and professional at all times.
What we offer:
– Hourly AM Rate:
Monday to Friday / Weekends off – £16.00 PER HOUR
– £18 A HOUR After 8 hours
– Start times 06:00 am
– 13 Weeks Temp to Perm ongoing position 40K a Year Contract
– Average shift length 10 hours to 12 Hours
– Ongoing training and support
What we are looking for:
– HGV 2/LGV 2 UK issued License is required.
-Physically fit / Hand balling required.
– Previous multi-drop experience.
– Problem solving skills.
– Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO.
– No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes).
– Excellent level of English.
– Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
– Previous driving assessment history would be advantageous.
– Understanding of telematics and tacho data.
– Good Timekeeping
– Customer care focused
– Well-presented and physically fit.
– Pro-active and good time management skills.
