SSA are looking for a Project Manager working for a principle contractor on behalf of Network Rail, The candidates will be responsible for overseeing a range of embankment schemes initially through to larger schemes such as bridge refurbishments (grit blast and paint, steel works, waterproof injection etc etc), building refurbishment works, tunnels rehabilitation works, platform end gates and drainage relining works etc.
As a Project Manager, you will:
Manage design contracts.
Manage risks.
Manage operational readiness and assurance reviews.
Take minutes of contractor meetings.
Manage the PACE (GRIP) process.
Be responsible for stakeholder management (local authorities, resident’s groups, TOCs, internal stakeholders, asset team) and managing relationship with sponsor. You will:
Have experience in a Project Manager role, ideally within the Rail / Civils industry.
Have an understanding of CDM Regulations and rail safety.
Have good MS Office skills
