Simply Education are in search of a 2 x SEN, KS1 Learning Support Assistants to work in one of our partner SEN schools in Beaconsfield. This would be working with small groups of pupils that have EBD/SEMH needs. This job is to start in January and is will be through to the end of the academic year with a view to a permanent contract being offered.

As a learning support assistant/teaching assistant, you will be supporting pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental health barriers to their education and will therefore need you to to be resilient and have experience working with SEN pupils.

All we ask is that you have the following skills and experience.

– Previous experience either working in provisions in mainstream schools or
  SEND would be an advantage however not essential.
– Experience working in a School or with young people with complex behaviour.
– Looking to support a develop pupils with additional learning needs.
– Clear communication both written and verbal
– Be willing to learn
– Have a strong classroom management style.
– Have a creative approach in dealing with behaviour
– Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
