Payroll Coordinator job vacancy has just opened in Milton Keynes.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring all payroll activities are managed in an accurate and timely manner. Ideally suited for someone who is pro-active, well organised and structured this role involves working under pressure and offers a great opportunity to experience working in a busy and fast paced environment.
The company culture has been described as very friendly, relaxed and they are looking for someone who will fit the family culture. There is free parking on site, and there is flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Collating all payroll data for monthly submission before forwarding to a third party for processing
Checking payroll reports (manual calculations will be required) to ensure accurate payments are being made to our colleagues
Ensuring any queries with regards to payroll are answered and explained within a timely manner, for example; over-payments, underpayments, maternity, paternity, benefits, tax and NI
Conducting monthly benefit, pension and payroll reconciliations to ensure invoices are processed on time
Processing of absences, maternity, paternity and/or adoption leave in line with Statutory and Company Policies
Processing starters and leaversRequirements:
CIPD qualified or part qualified (desirable not essential)
Minimum a year experience in a payroll position
Highly analytical with a good level of numeracy
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages – Excel, Word and PowerPoint, ideally at an advanced level
