BOOKKEEPER (12 MONTH CONTRACT)- HIGH WYCOMBE, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE- JOB REF: JO29346
Accountancy Elite are thrilled to be recruiting for a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in High Wycombe who provide excellent services to a wide range of local and national companies. This company is looking to add to their Bookkeeping department due to a member of the team going on maternity leave.
The successful candidate in this role will be someone with a minimum of 5 years UK Accountancy Practice experience. This candidate should be able and confident to take the bookkeeping to Management Accounts level. Strong experience in Xero and Sage is also necessary. Any experience in Accounts production would be favourable but is by no means essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* General bookkeeping duties for clients.
* Preparation of VAT returns.
* Take the bookkeeping to Management Accounts level.
* Regular client interaction and ability to maintain strong working relationships.
* Regular use of accounting software such as Sage, and Xero.
Candidate Attributes:
* Minimum of 5 years UK Accountancy Practice experience is necessary.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Able to work to strict deadlines in a fast paced environment.
* Strong experience of accounting software such as Xero and Sage on top of very good skills on Excel.
