On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Procurement Manager for a 6 Month contract based in Marlow (4 days on site).

Purpose of the Role:

You will have overall responsibility for Procurement team – representation of department at Senior Management Reviews. You will also be responsible for the day to day range of staff management matters which include responsibility for supporting appraisals, development of staff, recruitment and where necessary processes such as performance management

As a Procurement Manager you will be responsible for:

* Management and maintenance of departmental KPIs including Supplier performance, Productivity, OTD, Revenue and Arrears

* Support internal stakeholders with key supplier performance reviews to help build business capability

* Manage the end-to-end supply chain relationships with a specified group of vendors to ensure the best possible quality, cost, delivery and overall supplier reliability for the Business Unit.

* Manage associated sourcing and tendering processes in accordance with project or production deliverables.

* Obsolescence, Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning

* Early engagement with relevant stakeholders to review and challenge engineering specifications with the purpose of developing appropriate procurement strategies to support the business needs.

* Be the data owner for all supply master data for the category.

What we require from the candidate:

* Proven experience of working in a supply chain organisation.

* Previous Procurement experience at a Senior Buyer/Manager level within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.

* Degree in business, operations, supply chain, or related field.

* Strong supplier performance management experience

* Able to prioritise effectively and meet demanding deadlines

* Collaborative, personable, a strong communicator, able to influence at a senior management level

* CIPS certification is desirable
