National Account Manager – Market Leading International Brand
Our client is offering a basic salary range £40000 – £45000 (DOE)

Location: Home based / National field sales position (Location is open)

* As pioneers and owners of Internationally recognised brands they provide Site and Personal Safety Equipment solutions for the industrial and construction market.
* This is a brand-new position for the company as they continue their growth and development going in to 2022.
The Role
* This is a hybrid position with the purpose to develop new partnerships with National / Multi-site distributors alongside the requirement to grow sales within the company’s existing Key distribution accounts across the PPE, Safety, Industrial and Merchant channel.
* Reporting into the UK Head of Sales you shall be the focal point of the National Account Sales Strategy.
* You shall have a range of accounts to support from National distributors through to National buying groups with spends £1m plus.
* You will seek to convince and energise key decision makers and stakeholders at Head office and also at regional level and have full P&L and commercial responsibility.
The Person
* You should be able to demonstrate a stable career that is still on an upward trajectory and have a minimum two-years National / Key Account sales experience.
* Ideally you will have previous experience selling through distribution, but we can also consider individuals who have sold to large end-users.
* Experience selling within the Industrial or Construction channel shall give you an advantage, but generally we are open to consider other sectors and put more weighting on experience managing accounts with spend £1 million plus per annum.
* You will be a very persuasive individual who has excellent people skills and possesses the ability to motivate others.
* In addition, you will need strong commercial acumen enabling you to analyse, stay on track and achieve set and agreed business goals with the distribution partners.
