Are you a multi-skilled Electrical & Mechanical Engineer? Are you tired of working shifts and weekend work? Based in Milton Keynes and working 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, we are a fast-growing, international manufacturer of packaging and process machinery and are now needing to strengthen our Workshop team. There are good prospects to move into either a Field Service or Office based Service Management role.
 
SALARY: up to £40,000

JOB SPECIFICATION: Electrical Engineer / Electrical Fitter / Maintenance Engineer / Workshop Engineer
 
This is an Workshop Engineer vacancy, reporting to the Operations Manager and working at our Milton Keynes site preparing & testing electro-mechanical machinery / capital equipment for installation and commissioning at client sites across the UK.
 
This high specification equipment will be customised to  the specific requirements of our clients from within the food processing / food packaging industry.
 
As an experienced Electrical Engineer you will take on many duties including:
· Building control panels
· Machine / Capital Equipment preparation
· Modifications and building of machinery
· Pre-delivery checking and testing / Pre-delivery Inspection (PDI)
 
REQUIREMENTS: Electrical Engineer / Electrical Fitter / Maintenance Engineer / Workshop Engineer
 
To be considered for this role you MUST:
 
· Have a proven track record as a multi-skilled Engineer working on industrial manufacturing equipment / capital equipment / industrial machinery
· Be a qualified Electrical & Mechanical Engineer with a full technical apprenticeship
 
You will be confident in your engineering abilities and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
