We are supporting an established Accountancy Practice in Milton Keynes in their search for a Senior Accountant. Our client has been supporting local & national businesses for the last 35+ years, across many sectors including, Construction, Manufacturing & Retail.

We a looking for an experienced practice accountant to join their team. You will be responsible for your own portfolio but will also assist with one off work projects, you will also be involved in reviewing and supporting more inexperienced members of staff.

Ideally the position would be full time and based in the office at least 3 days a week.

The ideal candidate does not have to be qualified, however, the y must be experienced in a practice environment.

Duties Include

· Statutory Accounts

· Management Accounts

· Bookkeeping/VAT returns

· Oversee, train and motivate more inexperienced members of staff

· Assisting Directors with their day to day workload

Personal Skills

· Highly organised

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to build rapport with clients

· ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications/Experience

· Minimum 3 Years Practice Experience

· Part ACCA/AAT or Working towards or QBE

Working Hours

· 8.30 – 5.30 Monday to Thursday with an hour for lunch then 8.30 – 2 on Friday.

· 31 days holiday per annum

· There is remote working available, but you will be expected to be in the office at least 3 days a week
