Would you like to work for one of the UK's leading Financial Services firms? Do you have a background in Facilities Management? Are you passionate about incorporating environmental & sustainable policies in to the facilities function?
This role will work in the facilities team to scope and implement the delivery of strategic projects around all areas of facilities from health and safety to carbon footprint analysis in addition you will support the wider ESG strategy working closely with the Operations Team.
You will work across the companies offices delivering inspections, advising on best practice and legal compliance and will also measure and report on key environmental and sustainability data such as Feed-in-Tariff for solar panels, water management, waste management and general energy use as well as prepare and submit reports to Senior Managers. You will also review all incidents and near misses, ensuring reporting, recommendations and remedial learnings are implemented. This may extend to introducing new targets and objectives or looking at new suppliers and working on tender processes. Furthermore you will have strong communication skills to deliver effective communication to colleagues at all levels to gain support for new initiatives.
This role is nominally based in Amersham office however could also be based in Birmingham, London, Guildford, Bristol, Cheltenham, Liverpool and Leeds
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a facilities, environmental or sustainable role working closely with an in-house facilities team ideally in a professional services team. You will be an effective communicator, highly organised and used to managing multiple projects some with tight deadlines. You should be confident using MS Office. An IOSH certificate (or similar) would be a plus but if not training towards this qualification can be organised.
