As the Product Compliance Officer, you will have the chance to work with key stakeholders across the business really impacting how the business sees compliance, ensuring they are maintaining consistent processes.
Description
As the Product Compliance Officer, you have the chance to develop & grow, as will the scope of this role. You will be driving existing compliance processes across site & developing new approaches, building key internal & external relationships along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively ensure the products comply with legal, regulatory & compliance requirements – Market access requirements, REACH, ROHS, Safety, Labelling, markings & consumer information
Ensure the site are complying with its EPR obligations
Keep up to date with current compliance laws, rules & regulations
Thinking in the grey providing creative & solutions-driven advice on product compliance queries
Constant review & updating of compliance processes as required & highlighting process gaps
Work across site to embed a culture of compliance at the company
Support with implementing & driving environmental/sustainability practices across the site
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Profile
A Compliance specialist ideally with experience working in a consumer products environment, or, someone that has compliance experience looking to take their first steps into the market, with a strong desire to develop their skill set as well as:
A positive, proactive approach to work
Strong communication skills
REACH, ROHS & product labelling knowledge
An agile working style with the ability to problem solve with the business objectives in mind
Willing & able to stay on top of changes in legislation & regulations
A good understanding of environmental/sustainability practices or a willingness to learn & develop in this area
