Structural Engineer

Near High Wycombe

Small, flexible, well established award winning practice of specialist Piling Design consultants are seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join their team.

The team currently consists of 6 Geotechnical Engineers and 1 Chartered Structural Engineer. Your role will be to assist the structural engineer and you will be involved in temporary works designs, foundation design, piling designs, some superstructure design work, basements design, gravity walls, retaining walls and podium RC slab design works. You should have an interested in structural and civil design works and ground engineering.

Projects include car parks, private residential works, large contractor led projects, multi storey houses and they are also working on HS2. They also have some international projects. The projects range from small up to multi million pounds.

A recent graduate who is interested in this type of work with a good degree in civil or structural engineering would be considered for the role. Autocad proficiency is essential. The ideal candidate would have several years of experience in a similar type of role.

A car is desirable as their offices are not very close to Public transport, although cycling or scootering from the station could be possible (it is a bit far to walk). Candidates who live within commuting distance of High Wycombe will be given priority.
