An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global market leader in the logistics industry in the capacity of General Manager (3PL) at their site in Milton Keynes.

The successful General Manager will take full leadership, operational and financial responsibility for managing a safe, efficient operational standards and profitable site for the organisation and the blue-chip customer.

You will maximise the contribution of the site departments and functions while balancing multiple and competing requirements, whilst managing the change of mind-set to standardisation and Continuous Improvement.

The General Manager will be responsible for approximately 150 employees for a new contract that has been live for several months and you will be accountable for Inbound, Warehouse, QC, Despatch and Returns for the customers' new product.

The Customer is very energetic and passionate about their new product. They have selected our client because of their flexibility and shared passion for making the product launch a success, therefore you will need to live and breath customer engagement and be an advocate of the brand.

Our client is looking for a General managing to be customer focused, with lots of drive and energy to make a difference and the ability to grow with the customer – they have very ambitious plans for 2022.

You will consistently display achievement drive, directs and advocates change management, creates and sustains a dynamic workforce, develops others through coaching and acts on values in face of risk.

The salary for this opportunity is £60k-£65k plus excellent company benefits.
