You’ll be working with a company that supply into the F1 industry so can expect a highly rewarding role and one that will get you out of bed in the morning as each day won’t be the same…. You will be carrying out assembly work for a leading F1 team so high precision is required in everything you do. Working within an immaculate workshop and one that has recently been acquired by the business due to growth. The work is coming in fast for this business so job security is high, they are expanding throughout to cope with the demand. And another thing……..are you working all the hours and not being rewarded???? Here you can expect to be paid for any overtime you work.

You can expect be working on both child parts and complete assemblies used for manufacturing parts for an F1 car. You will be working to engineering drawings, and written instructions from the engineers to assemble complex components to tight tolerances, so like everything in F1, precision is key.

You will be working within a small sub con CNC machine shop, who work exclusively with an F1 team, they have a small team of engineers within a newly refurbished F1 style environment. As they are a small team you will be given the chance to get involved in all aspects of the manufacturing process.

Much like the F1 cars themselves, your day will be fast-paced, so being a self-starter with a sense of urgency, one that thrives on meeting and exceeding deadline is a must! This is a senior position so someone who has leadership skills is needed, maybe you’ve been an assembly team leader or supervisor in previous role or you’re highly experienced in assembly and looking for a step up in your career. No qualifications required to do this role but previous Motorsport mechanic/assembly style is must.
