Community Substance Misuse Worker

Band 5 – £18ph to £20ph

Full time, community based

Sugarman Mind are on the lookout for Substance Misuse Workers for a community requirement in Buckinghamshire. This is a community based role, full time, at Band 5.

In this role, you will provide a dedicated comprehensive Recovery Focused Tier 2/3 service to people with drug and alcohol use problems their families and careers within the organisational framework of the Bucks CC Public Health Team. You will be responsible for:

Provision of drug and alcohol treatment to Service Users within the locality.
Holding a caseload of service users and being responsible for offering a range of interventions to that individual
Supporting a service user through their treatment journey from beginning to end
Embracing the concept of recovery and demonstrating this in your clinical work
Ensuring that your work is evidence based, up to date and in accordance with current policy and legislation.
