Childcare Tutor/Assessor

A high quality Government funded training provider that specialises in Childcare and Management qualifications are looking to expand their team of field based Tutor/Assessors. We seek an ambitious and qualified Assessor, who is willing to go the extra mile to deliver high-quality provision across our range of Childcare and Management qualifications. This is a hybrid role where you will both meet with learners face to face and also conduct video based assessments to support learners in qualifying for Early Years Educator Levels 2, 3 or 5 and Management level 3. You will have a good knowledge of both frameworks and standards. You will be passionate about staying current and pushing delivery to the highest standards through rigorous, well planned taught sessions, reviews and assessments of knowledge, skills, and behaviours.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* You will be able to manage a caseload of learners, ensuring they are compliant and make good progress in their qualification, assessing their developing knowledge, skills, and behaviours to meet expected standards.
* You will deliver and support employer involvement by sharing information and working in partnership to ensure the apprentice is able to succeed.
* You will be able to deliver high quality teaching and learning sessions across childcare and management qualifications to groups of learners and in one to one meeting, working face to face and remotely.
* You will be confident with functional skills to be able to deliver sessions to learners and support them to achieve qualifications at level 2.
* You will be able to build positive relationships with apprentices and employers to inspire and motivate learners to succeed. Sharing your passion and enthusiasm for the Early Years, lifelong learning, and management.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Qualification in assessment – essential
* Early years educator level 2 – required
* Early years educator level 3 – required
* Management level 3 – desirable
* Previous experience of working in a Tutor or Assessor role overseeing learners in Childcare is essential
* Previous experience of working in a Tutor or Assessor role overseeing learners in Management is desirable
* Hard-working
* Excellent communication skills
* Able to multi-task and excellent organisation skills
