The Role

As a Land Surveyor you will plan and execute differing sized projects and manage timescales. You will have a thorough understanding of the application of Health and safety and QA and must be able to work methodically using your initiative to problem solve and liaise with clients when necessary.

You should have the ability to communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional manner and brief other members of the survey team. The ability to recognise problems and recognise if these are within your ability to solve or to refer to more senior staff is essential for this role, as is the ability to plan and execute small to medium sized surveys involving several survey teams.

The Requirements

* A relevant technical degree/HND in surveying or a related discipline, with experience in a similar role, however, candidates with suitable skills and proven experience will be considered

* Strong working knowledge of Trimble/Leica Total stations & GPS

* Great written and verbal communication skills

* Able to use AutoCAD and LSS, SCC surveying software producing 2D and 3D Models

* Competent in all MS office suite applications

* Commitment to working safely with good health and safety awareness

* The desire to develop within a team-orientated environment

* Flexibility in your approach to working hours

* Willing and able to travel and work in adverse weather conditions

* Full UK driving licence
