About The Role

EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
 
EKFB Are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the project working on an 80km stretch of HS2.
 
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor focusing on change management, you will be an integral part of the commercial team where you will develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
An essential part of the role is managing the commercial team in procurement activities. 
You must work closely with the operations team for the identification and control of change management through design, 3rd parties and construction constraints. Notifying change events accordingly through the contract and negotiate agreements of both principle and quantum with the client.

About The Candidate
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with top tier main contractor within a major project
Extensive understanding and experience working on NEC contracts
Previously worked on change management, both principle and quantum
Heavy civil engineering experience is essential
Good organisation and communication skills are essential
Knowledge of the HS2 project is highly desirable
