Facades Senior Quantity Surveyor
Our client is a specialist subcontractor with an annual turnover of £32M and they have grown year on year since their inception 15 years ago.
Offering construction services within facades, drylining, firestopping, carpentry, tiling and decorating, it is our clients vision to offer a one stop shop for main / management contractors.
They have recently secured a £7M façade package with a well-known, tier one main contractor. The package includes the installation of rainscreen cladding, EWI and some brick slips. The project is due to start on site in February and therefore the need now exists for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to head up this project.
Senior Quantity Surveyors will be based in their head office near Marlow with weekly site visits to London and the option to work from home when the project allows it. Our clients office based staff currently work at home once a week, although this cannot be guaranteed week in week out as it will be dependent on the progress of the project.
Our client offers a very laid back office environment, they play the radio all day and do breakfast runs every Friday. They love to take their employees out too and often have days out at the races or team building events and they always knock off early on Fridays.
Due to the nature of the project, our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in facades and cladding. You will also need to have a minimum of 5 years working as a Quantity Surveyor for a façade contractor.
Due to complex design issues involved with the façade package, our client is anticipating allot of change. Therefore they need a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has a sound understanding of façade systems to capture this change and make money on the project.
