Job Title:               Senior Algorithm Engineer

Location:               Buckinghamshire

The Client:

We are working with a cutting-edge automotive manufacturer, who is developing exciting new technologies. Their engineering team is responsible for developing and supplying situational awareness and navigation platforms.  Since their founding 3 years ago they have rapidly expanded and recently gained a significant 8 figure investment from OEMs and Tier 1s.

Their product is supported by a proprietary software backed up by hundreds of patents (issued or pending). As this team of high-profile engineers and scientists continues to grow, they are looking invest in the career of a Senior Algorithm Engineer.   

The Role:

You will conduct development activities on algorithms to support the generate of digital holograms for new products. Working with leading OEMs and Tiers 1s all products will need to comply with automotive-grade electronics standards.

Responsibilities of a Senior Algorithm Engineer within the business include:

Optimising and maintaining logic systems to generate holograms.
Developing algorithms optimised for both FPGAs and ASICs
Optimising image and video processing in real time.
Liaising with hardware teams.
Memory optimisation. 

Qualifications/Experience:

The desired candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as Computer Science / Electronics Engineering. You will have a good knowledge of Intel FPGA development tools.  Experience in modelling (e.g. MATLAB or Simulink).  Code coding experience particularly with C/C# and Python.  Demonstrable experience of DSP/Image & Video Processing Algorithms.
