Religious Education Teacher, Milton Keynes, Pay in line with Scale – Jan 2022 Start – Full Time
Here at Supply Desk we are looking for a results driven Religious Education Teacher for a good rated secondary school in the MK area. The successful applicant will be required to lead inspirational lessons to all pupils in RE across KS3-KS4. You will be expected to deliver lessons with all abilities and individual needs in mind which allow opportunity for recaps as well as challenge.
The role is full time, Monday-Friday, paid to scale. There is parking available on site and the school is accessible via public transport.
The Role:
Delivering Religious Education lessons in a way that captures students attention and retains interest
You will be teaching key stage 3-5 pupils Religious Education
Planning lessons will be involved with this role
Follow the schools behaviour policy and build positive relationships with students
Being able to cater for SEN and varying ability levels within your classes
Mark work in a timely manner and track data effectively to monitor students’ progress
Requirements for the Role:
Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent
Able to provide two years’ worth of employment references
Positive and enthusiastic approach to education
A minimum of one year teaching in a secondary school
