Purchasing & Sales Order Assistant

Job Type: FTC Mat Cover (12-15 months)

Hours: Part Time, Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours per week)

Salary: £17,160 pro rata, £11.00ph

Location: Stantonbury, Milton Keynes (working from the office) MK14

Requirements:
– Process orders, POD requests, Sample & Price requests
– Sales enquires
– Coo-ordinate orders internally with customers and suppliers to ensure supply
– Process sales and purchasing invoicing
– Work with internal departments to meet customer's needs
– Data entry on various platforms
– Understanding product range to answer questions about pricing, availability & products
– SAP business one (experience preferred)
– Excellent phone etiquette
– Adequate verbal, written and interpersonal skills

A Successful Candidate:
– Good previous customer service experience
– Able to understand and retain new information quickly and efficiently
– Fantastical organisational skills
– Able to problem solve when required
– Able to multi-task and prioritise workload
– IT Literate, good understanding of MS office
– Previous SAP experience (Bonus)
– Previous experience in purchasing & ordering

Gi Group are recruiting for a Purchase ledger/ Sales ordering professional to join a growing Chemical company based in Milton Keynes. The position is starting as Maternity Cover, but has the scope to become a permanent position for the right individual depending on the company's success.

We are looking for someone who has proven experience within Purchasing & or Sales Ordering. You will need to be very organised and able to prioritise your workload. IT & Technical knowledge required, coupled with a friendly customer service demeanour to facilitate customers and navigate the company's systems.
