About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
EKFB are recruiting for a Highways Consent Manager to join the team in Milton Keynes.
In this role you will be managing the interfaces with all project stakeholders for consenting requirements so that projects are delivered on time and in budget. You must ensure key milestones are met in a compliant manner.
We expect you to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, consent granting bodies, HS2 and our supply chain. You will work with these stakeholders to identify future works to profile forecasts and resourcing for EKFB as well as the local authorities.
Early engagement will need to be established with consenting granting bodies to ensure consents are granted on time through pre-applications where our agenda is set in advance. Another key part of this position is the monitoring and tracking of consent approvals within our process as well as carrying out weekly reporting highlighting risk.

Working knowledge of Street Manager
Knowledge of NRSWA
Ability to work to strategic programmes
Knowledge of working practices of highways interfaces
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Ability to build strong working relationships – and maintain them
Ability to simplify legal agreements
