Payroll & HR Assistant
Part-time hours – flexible depending on your situation
Hybrid working offered once fully trained
My client, located in Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Assistant to join their growing team. You will be responsible for processing a monthly payroll and providing a first-class HR service.
Main Responsibilities:
Notify staff each month of the payroll deadline and retain details of all changes in readiness for the next payroll run
Commence the next payroll by preparing a monthly overview document of all changes for review/authorisation by HR Manager prior to committing payroll
Assist HR Manager and HR Officer with interview arrangements, testing of candidates, following up references.
Prepare and issue new starter information form and other relevant documents
Maintain absence records for all staff (including sickness, unpaid leave, other leave)
Maintain Excel spreadsheet showing all salaries following 1 May review and update on ad hoc basis when staff change salary/hours
Assist staff with any general queries they may have regarding pay, pensions, holiday, etc.Essential:
Experience working in a similar role, payroll & HR experience is essential
