Full time, permanent Senior Care Assistant role
36, 42 or 48 hours per week, Alternate weekends
£10.50-11.00 per hour

This is a lovely 12 bedded Residential Home set in an attractive location specialising in elderly and dementia care. They pride themselves on offering person centered care, maximising each individuals potential for health improvement and promoting a positive sense of self-worth. As a Senior Carer, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting a care team to ensure a high quality of care and service is provided to all residents at all times. You'll play a key part with care delivery in the home as the Senior Care Assistant will provide and ensure the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas including relationship centered care and dementia care. We are looking for someone who is customer focused, committed to delivering exceptional, high quality care and has a strong attention to detail.
Immediate starts are possible and some part time roles are also available if preferred.
Senior Care Assistant Duties:
Assist and oversee the HCAs with care delivery in the home
Support all members of the care team to realise their potential
Shift leading
Assist with all activities provided within the home to promote relationship centered care.
Develop own knowledge and practice relative to continuous service improvement
Senior Healthcare Assistant Requirements:
Previous experience within a nursing/residential home
Previous experience as a Senior HCA / Care Team Leader / supervisory position
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
