Role: HR Systems Analyst – Milton Keynes
Are you an experienced HR Analyst looking to make a real difference? Have you used Workday HR Information System? The newly created role of HR Analyst will play a key part in this Children's charity's ability to derive maximum value from the implementation of the Workday human resources information system.
You will drive service improvements around managing and maintaining HR data, together with creating intelligent business analytics. You will also support and enable the charity to optimise its strategic usage of people-related data through the management and delivery of a high-quality and efficient management information service. In doing this, you will make a very real difference in our ability to transform the lives of the world's most vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership for all HR reporting requirements – including (but not limited to) employee data, headcount reporting, HR KPIs & dashboards, annual and ad hoc pay, benefit reporting, benchmarking analytics, diversity reporting, organisational structures etc.
Providing specialist HR data reporting/analysis and project support ensuring effective data collection, analysis and reporting on confidential HR data to agreed deadlines, annual or ad hoc processes e.g., annual pay review, salary benchmarking activities.
Be the HR Lead on the implementation of the Workday HR information system.
Identifying continuous improvement opportunities with a view to driving HR process efficiency.
Acting as controller for the governance of access rights in HR systems ensuring HR processes adhere to legal requirements.
Ensuring robust data management processes are in place in line with GDPR requirements.
Participate in presenting management information to the organisation.
From time to time, support the HR Business Partners in managing changes to terms and conditions of staff, employee lifecycle events and employee relations casework
Be part of the HR team rota to ensure the HR Helpdesk is always covered during working hours.
Personal Requirements:
Experience of using the Workday human resources information system is desirable.
Educated to degree level or equivalent level of critical thinking gained by relevant experience.
Part CIPD qualified or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience.
Experience of data analysis to identify trends and provide a summary of key findings.
Knowledge of HR policies, Access requests processes and procedures.
Maintains a clear sense of goals and priorities and able to juggle multiple projects.
Willingness to support colleagues with emergent or ad hoc activities as needed.
Produce accurate and timely reports.
Good self-management, with a professional attitude to meeting deadlines.
Current working knowledge of basic employment law is desirable.
Extensive experience in development of management information reports, including working with complex data structures across a variety of different systems.
Ability to engage with a range of internal stakeholders, with a view to interpreting and delivering their reporting needs with accuracy and timeliness.
Confidence working with large data sets and highly competent with MS Office.
Experience of working in a fast paced, generalist HR environment and with strong analytical, problem solving, design and implementation skills.
