Due to continued growth, we are looking for an MET Technical Trainer to join our busy team at the National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced MET Technician wishing to move into a training role.
The Role
Working within modern training environments and using the latest technology and equipment the MET Technical Trainer will be responsible for delivering a range of engaging and informative training programs, which will include elements of course development and design.
As an MET Technical Trainer, you can use your passion, technical skills and knowledge to broaden your skills and enable you to deliver a range of informative and engaging training programmes.
As part of this role, the MET Technical Trainer will:
* deliver engaging, learner-focused training solutions
* deliver core technical and project-based training programmes
* ensure all training delivered is aligned to VWG and individual brand cultures and requirements
* undertake design work as and when required that is learner-focused, aligned to brand/factory requirements, covering all training areas
* utilise technology in the delivery of learning interventions, such as e-learning and virtual classrooms & digital solutions
* develop new materials for the delivery of new Model Launch courses
* complete associated administrative tasks
About you
Our ideal MET Technical Trainer will have demonstrable experience as an MET Technician, with a background in an MET or Senior MET role.
With practical vocational skills and expertise in the areas you are required to train, our ideal MET Technical Trainer will:
* have a dynamic and engaging delivery style, always maintaining engagement from all delegates
* maintain credibility by keeping up to date with new and revised learning and development theories, practices, and methodologies including technological advancements
* be personable whilst imparting varying levels of technical knowledge
* have an understanding of assessment tools and their links to learning & development (desirable)
* hold an Industry recognised delivery accreditation (desirable)
* have experience of utilising technology in the delivery of training such as webinars and social media (desirable)
* have Brand knowledge (desirable)
* have an understanding of blended learning and its application (desirable)
