JOB – Fire & Security Engineer

LOCATION – Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £33,000 – £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client designs and delivers fire and security services to commercial and domestic clients. They are looking for a Fire & Security Engineer Control Engineer to join their team in the region of Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire on a permanent basis.

The Fire & Security Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar ideally in Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role would be preferred
Knowledge of CCTV systems, Access Control systems, Fire Alarm systems and Intruder Alarm systems
Electrical Installation experience would be beneficial
Be a hands-on, practical engineer
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Be a team player with a positive attitude
Have a full UK driving licenceThe Fire & Security Engineer role will involve:

Hands-on servicing, installation and maintenance of fire and security systems
Electrical fault-finding and repairs
Working within a small team to deliver a quality service to customers
Travelling to and from customer sites for around 2 hours a day
