Based in Milton Keynes, this busy organisation are seeking an experienced Facilities Assistant to join its friendly team.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the building in day-to-day matters by supporting the provision of services such as reception, car-park security, cleaning, maintenance, reception and storage. It’s a very varied job and would suit someone who is practical, calm and who has an appreciation of what it takes to maintain an office facility.
Candidates are likely to have had some facilities/property experience in an office, warehouse or other environment where people constantly use the space. A general understanding of things like Health and Safety regulations, First Aid etc., are going to be very helpful as is the willingness to ”get your hands dirty” when needed. Strong IT skills are required.
The post is Monday to Friday and is a 40 hour week, with your team covering 07:00 starts and 19:00 finishes (not frequently). Any extra hours offer paid overtime. A full driving license is required.
If you like to be busy, have a practical “can-do” attitude and have a general facilities/property/handyperson background then this could be a great opportunity. It’s immediately available so if appropriate you could be working before Christmas!
