Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established, quality focused care business, who are looking for a full time Training Manager to cover the training needs for their care and support workers.
The role as the Training Manager will be responsible for the following:
* Manage and support the implementation of all training related activities within the business.
* Conduct training assessments in designated areas, not just in the main office
* Coordinate with external training providers on all aspects of training, delivery and follow up.
* Collaborate with external health professions, including occupational therapists, physio therapists, dietitians, GP’s, district nurses, hospital discharge coordinators, spinal injury and brain in jury specialists.
* Support with developing training programmes to address specific business needs.
* Support with the development of training manuals.
* Manage the training matrix to ensure high levels of compliance are always maintained
* Be involved in the recruitment and selection process to ensure that right calibre of candidates are selected for key roles.
* Keep informed of the development and trends of training and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Training role within the care sector with experience of delivering both mandatory Health and Social care training and complex care training. You will need to hold a relevant training qualification.
