We are recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer to join one of our clients based in Milton Keynes
The successful candidate would be responsible for the following:
* Co-ordinating Health & Safety committee
* Project work and promotion of Health & Safety throughout business
* Keeping up to date with legislation, communicating and implementing any changes
* Audits and reporting
* Be responsible for Fire, First Aid and Risk Assessments including contractors evaluations
* Training and toolbox talks
* Ongoing attendance and training via presentations, courses and exhibitions
* Investigating incidents/accidents and recording/sharing data
* Ensuring ISO45001 compliance
Skills & experience needed:
Nebosh and IOSH desirable
Previous use of Health and Safety management system
REACH trained desirable
Knowledge of compressed air, forklift trucks and machinery
Background within manufacturing/warehouse environments
