Helpdesk Support Analyst
The Company:
Focus Group is pleased to be working alongside this leading-edge IT Solutions Provider. They have been in Business for over 15 years and are well established and known within their Sector.
The Role:
My client is seeking a Helpdesk Support Analyst who will provide support and first point of contact for IT issues for their internal staff of up to 100 users. This will include Log reported problems on MIS helpdesk and manage reported problems through to conclusion. Alongside this you will be responsible for desktop support, PC Break/FIX and support Windows Servers (Active Directory & Exchange issues).
The role requires you to have good understanding of E.R.P. Systems and Virtualisation Technologies. Candidates must have well all rounded communication skills as you will be speaking with clients on a daily basis.
Key Skills:
* Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from staff regarding IT issues and queries
* Receiving, logging and managing calls from internal staff via telephone and email
* Maintaining an Asset Database and track changes
* Troubleshooting of IT related problems from in-house software to hardware, such as Smart Phones, Laptops, PCs and Printers
* Troubleshoot basic network issues such as ADSL broadband issues
* Escalate unresolved calls to the Helpdesk Team leader
* Log all calls in the Helpdesk Call Logging system
* Take charge of your personal development and contribute to the evaluation of performance in line with our client's core competencies and learning and development framework.
* Observe Health & Safety policy and procedures
The Candidate:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Helpdesk Support Analyst with exposure to Windows and 1st/2nd Line support, seeking to utilise your skill sets within this well established and rewarding company.
The Location:
The role is based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and candidates MUST be within commutable distance to be considered for this position.
The hours will be Mon – Fri 07:30 – 16:00.
