Our client, a Top 10 accountancy practice, has asked us to recruit an Accounts Manager to join the management team at its Beaconsfield office. As Accounts Manager your responsibilities will include:
* Being an integral part of the Accounts & Business Services Team
* Preparation of accounts and advice for more complex clients
* Departmental work planning
* Appraisals and also directly guiding more junior team members to provide both technical and day to day guidance and support
* Providing support to your clients from an accounting perspective and be the primary point of contact for their accounting needs
* Continue your technical and personal development
As part of the management team, your own journey will continue via mentorship by the wider management team to provide soft skills development such as more effective client management and staff management. Personal coaching will continue as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications which can be tailored to your own individual aspirations and can even include mentorship as you plot a route to Director/Partner if desired.
We welcome application from motivated and aspirational candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
* Significant accounts experience gained within UK practice – two years post qualified
* Experience of managing staff effectively
* Be comfortable and confident in managing and working closely with a portfolio of clients
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* IT literate
* Have a dynamic approach
* Experience of mentoring and supporting junior staff members
