Our client is currently recruiting an *** Administrator / Receptionist *** to provide Reception duties and administrative support to their business, joining their team on a full time basis.
The role will involve general front of house office administration, paying particular attention to detail and displaying professionalism at all times. The Receptionist element of the role will be to meet and greet all visitors to the office and support all staff with front of house duties, whilst administratively supporting the back-office ensuring an exceptional standard of customer service.
Responsibilities will include:
Greeting clients and ensuring their needs are met during their time with the business.
Making and receiving phone calls and directing incoming calls internally.
Arranging and managing appointments & diaries.
Typing client letters (desirable).
Managing incoming and outgoing mail.
New client processing including all paperwork and administration.
Maintaining existing client’s database.
Supporting the invoicing process and issuing statements (desirable)
A variety of additional administration tasks such as dealing with post / franking, scanning and filing etc.
The position will be varied and there is the opportunity for your responsibilities and role to evolve as your understanding of our clients' industry evolves.
To be considered you will be:
Experienced in a reception duties / customer service, or office-based administration, for a minimum of 1 year.
Articulate, friendly and confident speaking to people in person and on the phone.
Have a good attitude towards clients, colleagues and your work in general.
Have an aptitude for picking up new skills and understanding instructions quickly.
Be computer literate and familiar with MS Office applications.
Knowledge of Iris and/or Sage would be advantageous.
Our client is offering a salary of between £20,000 to £30,000 (DOE) with working hours of Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 with one unpaid hour for lunch.
The successful candidate will be someone who is hard-working, enthusiastic and reliable. You must be a good communicator, willing to learn and able to use your own initiative.
Candidates will need their own transport given our clients rural location, situated around 7 miles outside of Bicester
