The expectation of this role is to support the REACh, ENGINeUS and (TLS) P01-99-XX Project team by providing the technical skill set requirement below: –

Materials & processes skills
Proficient in Materials testing and Materials processes
Perform all tasks allocated within his/her capability within the field of Materials & Processes
Engineering, carry out all work undertaken with efficiency and accuracy.
Operate in accordance with the clients Product Introduction Process (PIP) and attend the necessary meetings.
Operate in accordance with agreed clients processes, with all deliverables being to the designated agreed standard.
Support the REACH Programme, TLS and ENGINeUS programme to ensure the technical integrity of the product and that it meets all performance, reliability, cost and safety requirements.
Comply with relevant regulatory requirements pertaining to the work programme

Tasks required:
To work with the project team supporting the work package owner associated with the project delivering the elements listed below: –

REACh activities
Testing and qualifying elastomers and adhesives that are REACH compliant
support qualifying the lead free soldering
Write qualification report and update REACH spec
ENGINeUS materials
Support ENGINeUS Programme on the materials selection reviewing Engineering drawing for materials
Carry out the necessary materials test to support the programme
Provide consultation on the surface protection of the Aluminium alloy
Provide consultation on encapsulation materials and process
Support Build of the POCs working with manufacturing/industrialisation team

TLS support and qualifying brazing operations
Qualifying the operators on brazing, soldering and diode soldering.
Write training materials Setup sessions for the operators on brazing, soldering and diode soldering.
Carry out Permit/Concession and Problem report Materials and processes investigation required by TLS team
