We are currently working with an established small family run business who through growth have a need for a Fire Compartmentation/Fire Door Surveyor to join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to carry out inspections of buildings to ensure the integrity of the building is not breached and any firestopping has been carried out correctly and in line with current regulations.
The company will provide all relevant training and will give you an opportunity to gain a number of qualifications within the Fire Safety sector.
Applicants should have some knoweldge or background in the construction / property maintenance or estates industry and be comfortable working with members of the general public.
Responsibilities…
* Conducting fire inspections and compartmentation surveys on a mixture of Social housing, student accommodation, healthcare and educational premises nationally.
* Delivering reports and surveys
* Liaising with residents and clients whilst on-site
* Surveying and inspecting fire doors and frames
In order to be considered for the role, you will hold the below skills and personal attributes:
* Some experience or understanding of construction, property maintenance or estate management.
* Prepared and happy to work alone/ remote working
* Be willing to stay away overnight for projects whenever necessary
* Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Consultative, humble approach to your work
* Full driver’s license – maximum of 6 penalty points
* DBS Check required
Hours: Monday – Friday 07:30 – 17:00 (Flexibility required)
Benefits
* Salary between £28,000 – £32,000 per annum DOE
