My client is looking to recruit a mobile technician to be responsible for all scheduled servicing on a fleet of Captured Landfill Methane (CLM), Coal Mine Methane (CMM) and Power Response generation sets, and gas plants between Gloucester and Swindon. The technician is focused on providing high quality scheduled servicing to plant in order to improve operational performance and reliability
Responsibilities
* Performing scheduled maintenance tasks on a fleet of Captured Landfill Methane (CLM), Coal Mine Methane (CMM) and Power Response (PR) generation sets, gas plants, flares and BOP
* Ensuring that all work dispatched by the Logistics Centre is carried out safely, efficiently and to the required quality standard.
* Identifying early warning signs of operational problems and / or potential breakdowns.
* Keeping up to date with gas field issues and liaising closely with technicians in the gas team, working to assist each other in resolving any issues affecting generation / compliance.
* Maintaining vehicles, tools and equipment in a safe, clean and functional condition.
* Ensuring that the power generation compound is maintained in a safe and tidy condition by practicing a good housekeeping policy.
* Inputting data into database systems.
* Ensuring you are qualified and trained for the tasks you undertake and that you comply with the Company’s procedures, HSQE policies and relevant legislation.
This role does involve a rotating shift pattern
This role would suit a strong electrical and mechanical engineer with some knowledge of engines or generators but full training will be provided for the right person
