Control Room Operator (Night Shift 8pm – 6am)

£23k + £2k shift allowance

Do you have previous experience of working in an operations centre/control room? Are you computer literate? Do you have the ability to pick up new skills and systems quickly? Are you committed to delivering a high quality service? If so, our client is looking to add to their team of nightshift workers. Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (8pm – 6am), including weekends and bank holidays, this role covers a wide and cross functional spectrum. The team are currently working from home but are in the process of returning to the offices in Milton Keynes. As a Control Room Operator you will be a key member of the night shift team that responds to a variety of alarms and alerts. You will need to regularly update incident information, and support customers calling for a number of urgently required services.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

Monitoring services to aid and assist in recovery of goods.
Source and validate information (both current and long-term) from a variety of contacts.
Process, input and disseminate information within strict timescales in order to provide real-time, accurate, high quality and consistent information to support the company's products and services.
Monitoring of live systems, services and reporting, escalation of faults.

To be a successful Control Room Operator (Night Shift) you must have:

Computer literacy – able to pick up new software systems quickly.
Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Excellent communication skills and able to operate within a team environment.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
