We focus on standard and customised private label services for retailers and brand owners from idea to shelf-ready product.
For the last 2 years we have been developing our own line of cosmetic products that have been supplied to hundreds of retailers internationally.
Production Operative Job description
The Production Operative role at MB Professional Beauty requires manually and mechanically manufacturing and filling cosmetics products to fulfil orders and Warehouse stock requirements. This will include manufacturing and formulating the products with specialty machinery and equipment.
Production Operative Key Responsibilities
* Adhere to company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
* Manufacturing Skin care/cosmetics products.
* Process Jars/bottles labelling.
* Liaise with Lab to ensure the products spec meets requirements.
* Fill creams, liquids and oils etc. Weigh/Measure raw materials accurately.
* Comply with base filling procedures and checks.
* Transport filled products boxes on the pallets, prepare and wrap the pallets for shipping.
* Dismantle the filling machine and mixers. Clean and re-assemble it.
* Clear Production floor and tables of pots, clean the workshop before start of day.
* Cosmetics product making, bulk production and special batches (as trained).
* Maintain good housekeeping and ensure high standards are always maintained, in all areas. ·
Production Operative Knowledge and Skills
* Fast and flexible worker.
* Able to work in a team and individually.
* Ability to learn and pick up new skill.
* Physically able to lift heavy loads (up to 25kg).
* Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Experience of using PCs.
* Good eye for detail and quality.
