Domestic Electrician (Heat Pumps)

£36'000 – £40'000 + Van + Training + Pension + Holidays

This award winning company specialise in the installation and maintenance of heat pumps and other renewable systems nationwide. Part of the UK Government's strategy to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, is to ensure that all existing and new build properties are installed with heat pump systems, as opposed to gas boilers. As a result, this company are thriving and have significant growth plans in place to manage the increased demand and facilitate future success.

In this role, the Electrician will cover a local patch and be responsible for the installation and maintenance of air source heat pumps and other renewable systems to domestic properties.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified domestic electrician with a passion to get into the renewable energy sector. Experience of installing heat pumps is highly advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.

The role:
*Installation and maintenance of heat pump systems to domestic properties
*Ensure work is completed to H&S regulations and to a high standard
*Use of company app system for scheduling and to record work
*Covering local patch – about 1 hour radius from your home
*1 in 5 weekend call outs (work on the Saturday, on-call for the Sunday)

The person:
*Proven experience of domestic electrical work
*C&G 2391 inspection and testing
*18th Edition
*Heat Pump experience is advantageous
*Enthusiastic about renewables
*Full UK driving License
