My client are a leading security MSP (managed service Provider) who due to expansion are now recruiting a again. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented 1st line SOC/ NOC analyst) to join my client, based in Buckinghamshire, and become a key member of their busy Helpdesk team. As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will act as the initial point of contact for all IT support queries. You will Provide 24/7 coverage, 365 days a year working within the 4 on 4 off shift patterns. Since this a fully remote role we are looking for candiaates that are able to work on their own initiative and also be a team player.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or helpdesk portal
Analysing multiple security data sources to determine where malicious activities are occurring and respond accordingly
Monitor and respond to automated incidents generated by NOC and SOC platforms
Provide technical support to high profile customers through telephone and other channels
Be prepared to undertake learning and development activities to develop your skills and knowledge
Collaborate and contribute with team workloads and activities
