Carmichael are seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to join the team based in Buckinghamshire.

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for undertaking GIS data preparation, data management, mapping, BIM data conversions, analysis, and visualisation to support our internal team, supply chain and client. This is an exciting role in an innovative team, working on the largest infrastructure project in Europe.

A key component of the role is data management and co-ordination, you must provide technical expertise to digitalisation projects and prepare high-quality cartographic deliverables.

We expect you to support the training of office and field-based staff for web and mobile applications. You will also need experience in manipulation, analysis and presentation of geographical information.

Your work will form part of the organisations digital strategy and will be contributing directly to the successful delivery of the project.

You're accountable for analysing spatial data using mapping software and geoprocessing tools as well as creating spatial data for use in business processes and applications.

Key Skills and Experience:

Demonstrable experience in a similar position and/or a Master’s degree in a relevant

discipline

Proven knowledge in ESRI ArcGIS Pro

ESRI ArcGIS Online / Portal for ArcGIS

ESRI Mobile application deployment and support

Microsoft Access and Excel

Knowledge and experience in successful data management

Working knowledge of UK GIS datasets

Excellent presentation and communication skills in written and spoken English

Knowledge of Metadata standards and their application

Microsoft Office 365

Desirable Experience:

Experience of working within infrastructure or environment disciplines

Experience of programming in either Python, SQL, or VBA

Exposure to ESRI Model Builder or FME

ArcGIS Server and ArcSDE

Use of Projectwise, BIMXtra or other common data environment use

High Speed Two (HS2) project experience

Experience of working with large datasets i.e LiDAR, OS Mastermap
