Sales Support Assistant

Our client is looking for a Sales Support Assistant to manage the diaries and administration of the Sales Director and field-based Business Development Managers. Working as part of their vibrant team in the Buckingham office, the successful candidate will need to be able to operate using their own initiative, working under pressure, offering support to the external team that work on the road. This role will involve managing the Sales teams diaries and liaising with them on appointments, calling account customers and prospects, preparing quotes, following bespoke enquiries through with the team and keeping both the client and team updated. You will need to build strong relationships with the Business Development Managers and align with Marketing to follow up on campaigns and support data cleansing.
As a Sales Support Assistant your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Mapping out the country ensuring that the areas are covered.
Managing diaries and supporting sales team with administration such as booking flights, hotels, cars, and transport as required.
Tracking and keeping expenses to budget including month end reports.
Mileage reports and detail.
Liaising with the internal sales team.
Assist in keeping the company database up to date.
Follow up on marketing campaigns.
Refer customer complaints to customer service team.
Preparing reports from the system to assist with sales decisions and customer feedback.
Preparing quotations for the client.
Following up and getting details to assist sales.
To be a successful Sales Support Assistant, you must have:
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to negotiate.
Confident in dealing with complaints.
