Our client is looking for an HR Advisor to provide comprehensive, pragmatic and customer focussed Employee Relations (ER) support, advice and guidance to managers (and where relevant, employees) working within appropriate corporate human resources and service area strategies, plans and policies, to provide timely, accurate and professional ER advice.
To make risk-assessed decisions about ER matters at an operational level and provide specialist advice and coaching on all employee relations issues.
To coach and support managers to manage their employees on a variety of employee relation issues.
EXPERIENCE:
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, or equivalent qualification Desirable but not required
Demonstrable Continuous Professional Development in HR
Demonstrable evidence of ability to analyse problems and recommend workable solutions
A proven track record as a HR generalist
Strong understanding of employee relations matters
Experience of consultation with Trade Unions, collective groups and individuals in change situations Desirable but not required
Thorough knowledge and practical application of employment legislation
An awareness of HR change activities including TUPE and Redundancy exercises
Experience of delivering customer focused and flexible HR solutions
