Production Controller required for manufacturing client based in Chesham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Production Controller who would be interested in joining a business where they can develop and have a clear career path to Production Manager.

As a Production Controller you will ideally have around 5 years' experience in Production Control / Planning within an Electro-Mechanical manufacturing environment. You should have previous experience of working with MRP systems and have a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process from receipt of order through to despatch.

Production Controller Responsibilities:

The Production Controller will be responsible for co-ordinating the flow of information between all departments
Plan equipment, material and manpower needs for each requirement
Produce production plans and look for any risks or shortages
Ensure that there are regular updates are provided to all departments in relation to manufacturing progress.
The Production Controller is responsible for maintaining and updating production order book
