A retail business in Milton Keynes are looking for a part-time Finance Analyst to join the team.

A retail business in Milton Keynes are looking for a part-time Finance Analyst to join the team. This role can we worked either 3 full days or reduced hours across 5 days and also offers flexible working.

The purpose of the role will be to provide analysis and support to the wider Centrals Finance team, you will report into the Finance Manager with an initial focus on supporting the periodic reporting process. You will also provide essential analytical support to the Finance Manager for various strategic and ad-hoc projects, looking for ways to continually improve efficiencies and challenge current processes.

Candidate Profile:

Demonstrable financial analytical skills

Ability to produce financial information in a user friendly and value-add manner

Ability to deal with, reconcile and analyse large volumes of data and identify process improvements

Advanced Excel skills

Ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst ensuring accuracy

Core understanding of key accounting principles and reconciliation requirements

Basic understanding of commercials and profitability

Studying towards an accountancy qualification or qualified ACCA, CIMA

Experience in a retail business desirable but not essential
